A compliment

Today on Saturday, 18.5.2013 I’ve gotten a compliment at the weirdest place and time.

As usually i was going home with the bus and I was chatting with my best friend on facebook.

A man in three pairs of pink, thick socks and slippers entered the bus. He was in his 40’s, fairly loud and his breath stank.

Interestingly enough he wasn’t a drunk, just a slob. He sat in the first row.He then looked around and decided he wants to sit next to me.

I wasn’t exactly surprised, because I get a lot of odd creepers and old people staring right the fuck at me without moving a muscle.

I was glad that he decided to speak, but I didn’t understand a damn word he said for the first few minutes.

Eventually I understood the words “blister” and “feet”, at this point everything made sense and i wasn’t as freaked out anymore.

I told him that I don’t have any idea what the fuck he could do and that he should change shoes or something.

My bus stop was coming up and as I stood up to leave the bus the man asked my age and I said that I’m 17.

He then said I look 20 or 21, which i suppose isn’t a compliment by itself, but he added on that I look “extremely good” while pointing at me from head to toe and that I’m “the best age”, whatever that’s supposed to mean.

I thanked him and went home smiling.

All in all I loved the random compliment because it was from a stranger which didn’t completely creep me out.
